This photograph was taken in 1918 during World War I in France. General Harbord is flanked by his aides, Captain Feilding S. Robinson and Captain R. Morris Williams, both of whom were also awarded the Croix de Guerre with gold stars for their heroic actions. Major General Harbord is currently serving as the commanding general of the American Service of Supplies at Tours, France.
