Helm Crag & Gibson Knott from Wainwrights Coast to Coast Path above Mill Bridge in the Grasmere Valley in the Lake District National Park Cumbria UK

The Wainwrights are hills in the English Lake District (of which there are 214) that were collated by Alfred Wainwright MBE (1907-1991) and he will always be known for his famous Pictorial Guides to the Lakeland Fells which he compiled between 1952 and 1966 and also his Coast to Coast Walk from St Bees Head to Robin Hoods Bay. These handwritten and hand-drawn works of art have given inspiration to all true fellwalkers for the past forty years.
