Paisii of Hilendar Monument, Bansko, Bulgaria
Paisii of Hilendar was a great Bulgarian national revival figure. Bansko is famous for tourism in Bulgaria. It is very popular for skiing and hiking. It has more than 150 cultural monuments, including many from the Bulgarian national revival period. Bansko was founded in the 10th century on the site of an old Thracian settlement.
