For the Romans who were in themine heard his words, and, breaking through the last barrier,they rushed into the temple, seized the offering, and gave it toCamillus. So the sacrifice was completed by the hands of aRoman, and the soldiers came thronging up through thetunnel and made themselves masters of the citadel.
