MEN EMPLOYED IN MACHINE SHOP BUILDING In the motor repair department twenty-one persons areemployed. In the sheet-iron and pipe fittingdepartment four men, in the broom depart-ment three men, in the harness department oneman, upholstery department one man. A manin the broom department gives about one-third of his time to the laundry, where all thetowels used by the company are washed. Thislaundry has regular washing and ironing ma-chines, just as any commercial steam the machine shop there are twenty-ninemachinists and one foreman.
