SEA OF JAPAN (Oct. 27, 2022) Sailors put out a simulated class B fire on the flight deck during a crash and salvage drill aboard Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Benfold (DDG 65), Oct. 27. Benfold is assigned to Commander, Task Force (CTF) 71/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
