Lyceum.—The Lyceum is a literary society, officered by the stu-dents, but under the supervision of the teachers. It affords the stu-dents an opportunity to become acquainted with parliamentaryusages and to have practice in public speaking and discussion. Thesociety meets weekly and renders an occasional public program. Themeetings of this organization are very interesting and beneficial. :•?. REGULATIONS Students must be decent, respectable, orderly, and well behavedat all times. Students must make good all damage done to furniture or build-ings resulting from carelessness. In order to promote Christian character as well as good scholar-ship in an institution, students must conform strictly to habits oftruthfulness and honesty in purpose, action and work. All profanity, playing cards or billiards, hanging on the corners ofstreets or in public places, or associating with persons who do thesethings, and everything of an immoral tendency, are strictly for-bidden under penalty of suspension. The institution does not toler-ate dancing and note writing. No student will be allowed to remain in school who keeps or usesfirearms while he is attending school. Let them remain at home. Cleanliness of rooms, of clothing, and person, proper attention toorder and system in and out of school, and faithfulness to duty, arerequired of all studen
