2nd February 1932 - A view inside the League of Nations conference on disarmament at Geneva chaired by popular British Labour and Union Leader Arthur Henderson (known to all as 'Uncle Arthur'). Countries could not agree on what constituted "offensive" and "defensive" weapons and the talks broke down. Consequently Adolph Hitler withdrew Germany from both the Conference and the League of Nations on the 14th of October 1933.
