Marine Corps Sgt. Ian Valore, a team leader with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Africa Ground Combat Element, provides security during a tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel training exercise at Camp Lejeune, , July 11, 2018. TRAP allows Marines to insert into an area and tactically extract personnel, recover aircraft and destroy equipment, if necessary, in the event that an aircraft or ground vehicle have gone down. SPMAGTF-CR-AF will deploy in the fall to conduct crisis response and theater security operations in Europe and Africa.
