The wreaths were delivered to the Sand Hills State Veteran’s Cemetery nearby as part of an event called Wreaths Across America. According to Senate Resolution 726 of the 110th Congress, the annual event “recognizes the sacrifices our veterans, service members and their families have made, and continue to make, for our great Nation.”
