Public telephones form a line in the Old town of Essaouira, Morocco, North Africa


Essaouira was formerly known as Mogador and used for some f the settings in two films - Orson Wells "Othello" and Ridley Scotts' "Kingdom of Heaven". It is a city and tourist resort on the Atlantic coast of Morocco. It is more famous for it's blue fishing boats these days and still has a working harbour. Tourist development is low key but visible. The odl lively and shows both the local life and the Tagine filled eateries for the visitors.
