This gentleman beautified itfe inte-rior of the mansion with a large collection of pictures, and ornamentedthe grounds with temples, &c. In one of these is a statue by Roubiliacof Religion; holding in one hand the book of life, and in the other across. This temple is consecrated to Edward Holdsworth, author ofMusapula, and Remarks and Dissertations on Virgil. In accord-ance with the design of the building, is a cenotaph, on which is a figureof genius, represented in a pensive attitude, with Virgils bust, and aLatin inscription
