Points of interest The Grand Pier Pavilion was not yet built; it was completed in 1910. The theatre building in the foreground burned down in 1928. On the right hand side of the shops alongside the theatre building, can be seen part of the London Bridge stone balustrade which was given to the town in the 1830s when the bridge was demolished.
