IMPROVED GUERNSEY, Three years ago we found in the possession of a seed grower in New York State a greatly improved and wonderfully fine strain of ' Guernsey Parsnip. We secured 25 pounds ofseed, some of which we used" for our own planting and the balance we distributed among our customers for trial, all of whom were unanimous in praising the fine quality. The roots do not grow so long as the Hollow Crown, but are of greater diameter and more easily gathered. It is a very heavy cropper.
