Aerial view of Urangan Pier, Hervey Bay, 1967. Urangan Pier was built between 1913 and 1917. It was originally 1107 metres long. The last ship docked in January 1985 and the pier was closed. Later that year it was transferred from the Department of Harbour and Marine to Hervey Bay City Council. It is now listed on the Fraser Coast Regional Council Local Heritage Register.
