A makeshift cutter maybe made by attaching a length of watchspring to a block of hard wood. Thepaper is then stamped out on a sheet oflead. A variety of shapes may be made upby using strips of the ordinary chosen one which is suitable, andwhich leaves visible that portion of thepicture which is required and no more,lay it in position on the plate, and on thisplace a cover glass which has been care-fully cleaned. These cover glasses maybe purchased, or may be cut by theworker, but the former is the better negative glass is unsuitable, as it istoo thick. Binding.
