An announcement from EPA, Tomlinson related, has indicated that a schedule has been set up to start testing. The test will be administered in two parts. The first part will consist of general information on safety, etc. County agents are responsible for preparing candidates for the first part of the exam which will probably be ad- ministered in November of this year. The exam will be based on a pesticide application training man- ual which is available for $ The second part of the exam wiU test a grower's knowledge of pesti- cide use in his particular specialty area, such as cranberries, apples, and so on. The Cranberry Experi- mental Station in Wareham will be responsible for preparing cranberry growers for the second section of the exam. Part II of the exam will be administered either by the staff of the Experimental Station or by someone from the pesticide board, Dossibly sometime in the winter, 1976-77. 10 The entire testing program will begin this Fall and be completed
