Spagnum Moss on Rannoch Moor Scotland


Rannoch Moor is the largest area of blanket bog in Britain. It lies at an average of 1000ft altitude and covers an area of about 50 sq miles. Most of the moor is remote and has no roads. Access is via the railway and thence on foot. One of the last really wild areas in Britain
