Throughout, the working parts aresprung, and wear may be compensated by adjusting screws. Wecannot speak too highly of the enterprise and skill shown in the designand manufacture of this instrument; and yet the student will findthat, good as it is, it is one of the least costly instruments of its class. There is a microscope manufactured by Messrs. Zeiss, known as Stand VI. A, which comes to about the same cost as the above, andwhich we illustrate in fig. 190.
