The Navy’s Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 (HSC-25) safely deliver an ill 37-year-old crewman from the 95-foot Chinese Taipei-flagged fishing vessel Jin Hsiang Fa to EMS in Guam following a hoist approximately 138 nautical miles northwest of Saipan on Sept. 21, 2024, with coordination from Coast Guard Forces Micronesia/Sector Guam. Following a request for assistance from the Rescue Coordination Center (RCC) Taipei at 10:30 on Sept. 20, the Joint Rescue Sub-Center (JRSC) Guam began coordinating the response with HSC-25.
