A child plays with the remains of an aircraft wing on remote Morotai, Maluku Utara, Indonesia, a legacy of the Second World War. In 1945 this remote island - now rarely visited by outsiders - became a major staging point in the Pacific Campaign as Allied forces mopped up the occupying Japanese forces.
