An AN/TPS-80 Ground/Air Task-Oriented Radar is staged before loading aboard a landing craft, air cushion during exercise Steel Knight 23 at White Beach, Camp Pendleton, California, Dec. 6, 2022. Assault Craft Unit 5 and Marine Air Control Group 38 demonstrated the ability to use amphibious connectors to quickly reposition aviation command and control Marines and equipment in a littoral environment. Exercise Steel Knight 23 provides 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing an opportunity to refine Wing-level warfighting in support of I Marine Expeditionary Force and fleet maneuver.
