Mr. Fortnum, in his Majolica, Hispano-Moresco, Persian,Damascus and Rhodian Wares, at the Kensington Museum,London, 1873, describes this vase as spherical on a trumpet-shaped base, the neck of elongated funnel form, flanked by twolarge wing-shaped handles perforated with circular holes.
