Deputy Commanding Geranel Brigadier General Gil Ferguson hosted an interactive discussion about 1st Special Force Command (Airborne) (1SFC(A)) current and future plans during a Special Forces Association Convention (SFACON), where Green Berets, Soldiers and retirees attended a four-day event held from September 21-24, 2022, in the Colorado Springs area including Fort Carson. SFACON is held to honor, remember and recognize Green Berets and enablers with multiple special events, panels of speakers and Special Forces Medal of Honor guests.
