Colleoni (d. 1475), with reliefsrepresenting the Bearing of the Cross , Crucifixion and Descentfrom the Cross; above them is the gilded equestrian statue ofColleoni. Adjacent is the much smaller, but beautifully executedmonument of his daughter Medea. — S. Orata, adjacent to a. PESCHIERA. 26. Route. 19! nunnery, contains fine paintings and reliefs. On the slope ofthe hill, in the street leading to the lower town, is situated theAccademia Carrara, a school of art containing models and pictures;in the small cabinet Pius VII., by Canova.
