Southampton,Hampshire Friday 25 September 2015 HAMPSHIRE Police have stepped up a hunt for a pair of brothers wanted in connection with an acid attack on a Southampton woman. Extra police will be in Guildhall Square tonight handing out appeal leaflets one week after 37-year-old Carla Whitlock suffered life-changing injuries in the brutal assault outside Turtle Bay. The mother-of-six sustained extensive burn injuries and may never regain the sight in her right eye. Detectives continue to search for Billy and Geoffrey Midmore who they want to question in connection with the assault, while officers are also searching Kent and London for the pair. Detective Inspector Will Whale, leading the investigation, said: "It’s very apparent that Geoffrey and Billy Midmore know that we want to speak to them. "We ask people to look at these photos, visit the Hampshire Constabulary Facebook page, look at the injuries sustained by the victim - and if you know where the Midmore brothers are then call us straight away. “If you don't want to identify yourself, please remember that information can be left anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. ©UKNIP / Alamy Live News
