The foliage is very large and heavy and dark green. The color is cardinal-red, of a very rich, pleasing shade, faced on the back of the petals with clear chamois. Comes nearer being a scarlet-maroon than any of the Wheeler type yet sent out. The flower attains a great size, even under the most ordinary treatment. 15c.
