Master Sgt. Steven Parides, 4th Civil Affairs Group, presents the first of many school supply kits to a representative from the district of Nickerie school system here, July 17, 2011. The school supply bags were donated by the Boy Scouts of America to their brother troops here in Suriname as a part of New Horizons 2011. New Horizons is a cooperative humanitarian mission between the Suriname government and the United States Southern Command with the goal of helping to improve the quality of life for the people of Suriname.
