NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (Feb. 1, 2019) Lt. Matthew Golub, from Indiana, Pennsylvania, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) reactor department, returns the salute from officers as he is piped ashore. Ford is currently undergoing its post-shakedown availability at Huntington Ingalls Industries-Newport News Shipbuilding.
