A very accurately cut Archers slot in the side of a ruined castle showing very accurately hewn stones allowing Archers to fire arrows beyond the walls.
The castle ruins situated in Ogmore Village alongside the river Ewenny where there is a river crossing, this old ruin was well sited to defend the local area as the river has stepping stones and the possibility of fording the river at this point.
