The Greater Yellownape (Chrysophlegma flavinucha) is a species of woodpecker in the Picidae family. It is widely distributed throughout South and South East Asian and can be found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland and montane forests.
