Alesund is a small town (pop. 45000) in M¿re og Romsdal county, Norway. It is part of the traditional district of Sunnm¿re, and the centre of the lesund Region. It is a sea port, fishing centre and cruise liner stopping point. Alesund Aquarium houses focusses on the abundant marine life which lives in the North Atlantic, North Sea and Sea of Norway. So I'm not too sure where this giant octopus came from!
