Fully named George William Frederick Howard, 7th Earl of Carlisle, KG, KP, PC ( 1802 – 1864). he was also known as Viscount Morpeth from 1825 to 1848 and was a British statesman who served as Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, and Lord Lieutenant of Ireland . He was a well known writer and orator.
