Susan Forney was theaunt of Jacob Forney, who married Susan Carpenter, thedaughter of old Christian, and this Susan was the mother of thecelebrated John W. Forney, who, as is well knowTi, was a dis-tinguished editor and politician in Pennsylvania. Dr. Henrydied in 17T3, leaving three sons and four daughters: Henr}^,John, Abraham, Barbara, Susannah, Mary and Salome. Ofthese sons Henry and John were physicians.
