NEW COMBINED PLANING, MATCHING AND JOINTINGMACHINE. A heavy six-roll, double-cylinder planing and matching ma-chine has just been placed on the market by the J. A. Fay &Egan Company. This is the largest and heaviest combinedplaner and matcher made by this company and is especiallyadapted for railroad car and repair shops and planing mills. The matching devices are very substantial and. Double-Cylinder Planing and Matching Machine. are fitted with a patent weighted matcher clip for workingcross-grained and knotty lumber. This assures more rapidand accurate work. The feed rolls are eight inches in diam-eter, connected by a train of heavy expansion gearing withdouble links, heavily weighted. In the construction of themachine are embodied many devices of convenience for doingwork in the most accurate and rapid manner.
