SHARD Tower, so called London Bridge Tower at LBQ, or Shard of glass, was designed in 2000 by Renzo Piano. When completed in 2012, it will be the tallest building in the European Union and the 45th tallest building in the world. The tower will stand 310 m tall. in London, England. The Shard replaces Southwark Towers near London Bridge.
