The War in Schleswig: band playing before Marshal Wrangel's head-quarters at Hadersleben - from a sketch by our special artist, 1864. 'The Prussian Commander-in-Chief, Field Marshal von Wrangel lodges at the hotel of Jürgen Raben, where he is nightly serenaded by a military band. The Austrian commander, General von Gablenz, also resides in this house. The band shown in our Engraving is that of the Jägers, or Riflemen'. From "Illustrated London News", 1864.
