A German small-sword with a painted porcelain grip, circa 1750, The gilt thrusting blade double-edged, both surfaces decorated with etchings and trophy bundles down to the point. The fire-gilt, partly silver-plated bronze hilt adorned with rocailles in relief. Floral decoration and harbour scenes painted in colour on both sides of the white porcelain grip. Exquisite workmanship, in excellent condition.
