London, UK. 14 April 2014,A construction worker was killed as a partial building collapse happened when a mini-digger fell from the second to the first floor. This is a £250 million conversion of the old US navy building opposite the American Embassy Grosvenor Square into luxury apartments. The building was bought in April 2013 by the Abu Dhabi Investment Corporation and developer Finchatton from a consortium led by entrepreneur Richard Caring , the owner of several London venues including the Ivy, Scott's and Annabel's.
