This is the upper part of the main entrance to the temple of Pashupatinath in Kathmandu, Nepal. Pashupati is one of the many names of Lord Shiva, which means "Lord of Animals”. Pashupatinath, the temple and the area surrounding it is one of the world heritage sites in Nepal. It is one of the holiest pilgrimage destinations for all the Hindus of the world. This is one of the oldest temples, in Nepal, dedicated to Lord Shiva; one of the trinity and the guardian deity of Nepal. Every year millions of Hindus come to this temple on pilgrimage.
