Liverpool, UK. 14th May 2013. The holding of the inaugural inter university "Dragon Boat" racing at the Watersports Centre , Mariners Wharf, Queens Dock, Liverpool. Students from Lancaster University, UCLAN, Edge hill University, and the University of Liverpool taking part in a joint team building watersports event organised by the Northwest consortium of Chinese Confucius Institutes.
The Liverpool Confucius Institute hosted its inaugural LCI Dragon Boat competition between universities from across the region. Four university teams took part in an exhilarating competition that was won by University of Central Lancashire.
