The bottoms of the doors arc guidedby angle irons which are secured to the concrete flooring with ex-pansion bolts, the angles of course being cut away at each railcrossing. As this stream furnished water power for cer-tain factories below the property, it became necessary to alter itscourse without destroying any of its fall. The difiioulty was finallxovercome by excavating a new channel for the stream underneathone section of the building. The roof of this channel is a steel andconcrete arch upon which rest the posts supporting the roof ofstorage side of car house, and which also supports two of the tracks.
