"We grew ten varieties jf durum wheat. a11 showed marked resist- ance to the leaf mst. One variety of Polish wheat showed but slight infection. Six-var ieties of emmer whirh were grown here showed ^consid- erable resistance, a variety of einkorn only slight flecking. Pour varieties of rivet and spelt shov/ed a higher degree of sus- ceptibility than the dirums but were not as susceptible as most of the common wheats. Fourteen-varieties of club v/heats also showed, heavy infection. Of aboit two hundred varieties, selections and hybrids of the common wheats, only about fifteen selections of four hybrids showed any resistance. All those showing any degree of resistance were of the Crimean group.
