I've never seen a Kangaroo eating the fruit of this bush - but it is called Kangaroo Apple (Solanum Laciniatum). Very common in Victoria, Australia.

I'm told the fruits of the Kangaroo Apple are edible , but it's related to Deadly Nightshade - so I'm not game to try.
