An Indian gold-inlaid kulah khud, 18th century Skull forged from wootz Damascus in one piece with profuse floral gold inlays. Riveted, blossom-shaped top piece with screwed plume socket. Two plume holders on the sides, the nasal bar secured by a hook latch and edged with leaf shapes. Attached is a perfectly preserved aventail, composed of fine butted iron and brass rings.
