Any operator failing to cover the en-tire route, or deviating from the route, isliable to loss of his license. Fifteen routes are specified in theordinance, the limit of jitneys rangingfrom 50 to 100 on each route, a possibletotal of 1100 jitneys. Nearly all theroutes follow the lines of the KansasCity Railways, though in few casesreaching the terminals of such Kansas City Plans Safety Campaign. —Plans for a one-year safety-first cam-paign are being made by the KansasCity (Mo.) Many Hurt in Head-on Collision.— More than 100 persons were injured,two of them perhaps fatally, when twocars of the Public Service Railway metin a head-on collision near Fort Lee,N. J., on July 27.
