Corporal Steven Nixon, a combat engineer with 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, assists his wife, Alyssa, as she conducts the obstacle course during Jane Wayne Day, Sept. 13, 2013. The event gave spouses a chance to learn more about the Marine Corps and being a combat engineer. They conducted the obstacle course, viewed a static display of heavy equipment, tested their skills in the Indoor Simulated Marksmanship Trainer and rappelled off a tower.
