Los Reyes Magos (The Three Kings) who, like Santa Claus in many countries, deliver Christmas presents; not on the 25th Dec but on the eve of the 5/6th January. Children in Spain do receive some presents on Christmas Day, but traditionally presents are opened on the morning of the 6th January; El dia de Los Reyes Magos (three kings day), the day the three kings, or wise men, left presents for baby Jesus.
