The Ivor Nicholas Photographic display on the old bus depot wall in Whitehaven, Cumbria.

The black and white photographs displayed as a temporary exhibition on the reaming wall of the old bus depot in Whitehaven Cumbria. The pictures where taken by Ivor Nicholas a Cumbrian based freelance photographer who worked in the local area for many years submitting images to local papers and magazines. The old Whitehaven bus depot is now owned by the British Energy Coast who are looking to redevelop the site, but while this takes place this exhibition was created for the 2015 Whitehaven home and garden festival with the plan being for it to be on display until the end of the summer 2015. This photograph was taken in March 2016, with the exhibition due to end within a couple of weeks. The photographs, 21 in all, are of various everyday and local events in and around Whitehaven from a fire at the Hovis flour mill to moving large loads through the streets of the town on its way to Sellafield.
