LATHAM, – Kayla Brunner hugs her father, New York Army National Guard Soldier Daniel Brunner, following his promotion to the rank of sergeant major in a ceremony at the New York State Division of Military and Naval Affairs (DMNA) here on June 3. Brunner’s wife Erin and their daughters Sophia, Madison and Ava -- along with over 100 Soldiers, Airmen and DMNA employees -- attended the ceremony.
